Daniel Negreanu is a famous Canadian professional poker player from Canada who has the distinction of bagging a total of four World Series Poker bracelets. Daniel also has won a couple of World Poker Tour Championship titles. He has had a very rewarding and successful career in professional Poker and is considered to be one of the greatest pro-poker players of the recent times. In the year 1997 Daniel had won a couple of events at the Finals of the World Poker Tournament that was held at Foxwoods. After winning this tournament he bagged a total sum of 55,064 dollars and he was also named the best all-around player of the tournament. Negreanu followed his victory after winning a whooping 169,460 dollars at an event that was named the $2,000 Pot Limit Hold’em in the well-publicized World Series of Poker held in the year 1998. Daniel also became the youngest WSOP winner of the bracelet in the entire history of the game. This was a record he successfully defended for 6 years and till the year 2004.
Very soon, in the span of just a few years Daniel reached the top of the game and very soon acquired the status of being called one of the most successful poker tournament players of recent times and he soon went on to win a couple of World Poker Tour or WPT events. He also won a total of three bracelets of the World Series and also appeared at a total of 12 final tables. Daniel also had the honor of being named the World Series of Poker player of the year in the year 2004 and later he was also dubbed the World Poker Tour player of the year in the next year that is in the year 2005. The popular Wynn Las Vegas resort later assigned him the duty of their “Poker Ambassador” and he had the liberty to play for any amount or any stake in the resort’s poker room. This agreement lasted till the month of October of the year 2005.
