Full Tilt Poker sweeps the World Series of Poker
We all know that, of all online poker rooms, Full Tilt Poker claims to have gathered the very best poker professionals to form their famous (and infamous) Full Tilt Poker Team. And with every large event they confirm that they truly are some of the best out there. At the 2010 World Series of Poker the Full Tilt Poker pros swept a total of eight WSOP bracelets. The winners are, in order:
Praz Bansi, who managed to win the second WSOP bracelet of his career, in Event number 5, in a game of No Limit Hold ‘em. He beat over 2,000 players in order to win the event.
Richard Ashby was the second pro player of the Full Tilt Team that won an event. He is now $140,000 richer and the proud owner of a WSOP bracelet, after he was crowned the winner of Event number 21, in a game of Seven Card Stud.
Jose Luis Velador has won his second WSOP bracelet this year, after sealing in the deal in Event number 33. He had won his previous bracelet back in 2008 in a No Limit Hold ‘em tournament, and now he has mixed it up a bit, winning a Pot Limit Hold ‘em / Omaha Tournament.
Phil Ivey has not disappointed this year either, after winning Event number 37 (H.O.R.S.E.). With this bracelet he has now reached eight bracelets, and he is the youngest player ever to hold this many bracelets.
Scott Montgomery has won his first WSOP event this year. After winning Event number 36 in a game of No Limit Hold ‘em, while beating no less than 3,101 other contestants, Montgomery is now almost half a million dollars richer.
Gavin Smith is another Full Tilt Poker Pro who landed a WSOP bracelet this year, after his win in Event number 44.
Phil Gordon has won the Ante Up for Africa Tournament, which is part of the WSOP, but, unlike the other events, this is a charitable one.
Huck Seed completes this outstanding month for the Full Tilt Poker Team with his win at the WSOP Tournament of Champions.
